The house of zamindar Girish Chandra Sen.
Bhatiapara of Babu Girish Chandra Sen is a historical place on the banks of Madhumati. The origin of Madhumati is a narrow river named Chandana-Barashia. From Bhatiapara, a small dirt road runs one kilometer north along the eastern bank of this river. It ended at Kashiani's old railway station.
It is known that this unpaved road was blessed in the footsteps of zamindar Girish Chandra Sen. Just east of the riverbank on the east-west side of the road you will see a huge pond on the right and the house of zamindar Girish Chandra Sen on the left.
The south-facing house in the English U-pattern caught everyone's eye at the time. The center of this eye-catching house was a two-story building with a one-story building on either side. The white zamindari building was said to be fairly secure. Behind the walled house were three different kinds of fruit trees.
The house was on the left. The one-storied temple and the canopy of canopies on the right side of the house were not lacking in any part of what was meant to be a beautiful sight.
The giant pond of the zamindar's house was adorned. The paved pond has selflessly served the zamindar's house, the people of the area. Now there is no dirt road, no zamindar's house.
Contacts have changed. Now all that is known is the house of the former principal of Kashiani MA Khaleq Degree College, the vita of the house of the then zamindar Girish Chandra Sen.
