Saudi Arabia closed its doors to tourists because of the corona. After nearly a year and a half, Saudi Arabia has finally agreed to open its borders to foreign tourists.
However, strict conditions have been set for this. It is learned that foreign tourists will be able to enter the country only if they have taken all the required doses of the anti-coronavirus vaccine approved by the Saudi government.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has not yet lifted the ban on foreigners from performing Umrah, even though the doors will be open for tourists from August 1. Millions of Muslims go to Saudi Arabia for Umrah every year.
Saudi Arabia's tourism ministry said in a statement that from August 1, foreign tourists will be able to travel there with tourist visas. However, tourists need to finish the dose of the ticker of Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca or Johnson & Johnson. If they go to Saudi, they will no longer have to stay in quarantine. They must be accompanied by a negative report of the corona test done at least 72 hours in advance.
Earlier, in 2019, Saudi Arabia started issuing visas for tourists. Since then till March 2020, four lakh tourists have gone there. But then the Saudi gates for Corona closed for tourists. Even foreigners were not allowed to enter for Hajj and Umrah. Now only vaccinated Saudis can perform Umrah.
